Creede's history began back in the days of the gold rush. Visit and tour an incredible underground mining museum. Creede is also rich in culture with its art galleries and the famous Creede Repertory Theater.

Also within driving distance are the Durango, Silverton, and the Cumbres-Toltec narrow gauge railroads. There are also wonderful national parks including the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Mesa Verde National Park. View spectacular geology at Wheeler National Geological Area or just take in sites of abundant wildlife.
